Q: How long is the average Rehabilitation stay for my loved one?
A: Rehab stays varies on patient needs. All patients are assessed by the rehabilitation team and goals are established for a timely and safe discharge home.

Q: What type of accommodations do you offer?
A: We offer spacious one, two, and three bed accommodations.  In determining room placement, we look at a combination of factors, including finances, as well as residents’ backgrounds, goals, and personalities to try and match people appropriately.

Q: How does management stay involved?
A: The management team, which is comprised of 10 directors, meets daily to discuss successes, as well as opportunities to improve.  Management is actively engaged in the facility climate and meets with different employees on a regular basis to gain perspective on the overall operation.  Each manager is assigned an “Ambassador Room” to inspect for cleanliness, visual appeal, and overall functionality.

Q: Do I qualify for part A Medicare benefits.
A: You must have a consecutive, three day qualifying hospital stay and admission must be with in 30 days of the qualifying stay.

Q: How does my Medicare 100 day benefit work?
A: There are 100 skilled nursing days in a benefit period. On Day 21, the resident will owe a coinsurance which is usually covered by Medicaid and many other insurances. Progress must continue to be maintained to qualify for this benefit.

Q: What services will my loved one have during their stay?
A: spacious rooms and bathrooms, transportation, court yard, therapy, nursing, physicians, dentists, podiatrists, religion services, social services, activities, dinning services, nutritious meals, barber salon, resident trust account, daily laundry and house keeping, and much more…

Q: What are the qualifications for Medicaid eligibility?
A: A person must be at least 65 years of age.  Also, finances are a major component for consideration.  In 2016, single applicants must have income less than $2199 per month.  There are certain exceptions regarding assets and eligibility if you are under the age of 65.  Please speak with the Business Office Manager if you need more details or have any questions.
